I planted Chicklet Gold 16 days ago in a pot. Since that time, it has grown, budded and bloomed! I expected to wait until next year or maybe the next for that kind of development. This is my new favorite plant. It has beautiful bright green foliage, and the flowers are magnificent.

Highlighter bright blooms all season long! Chicklet® Gold esperanza looks like a trumpet vine, but is actually a totally harmless North American native shrub. It packs just the same flower power though, delivering blooms from summer well into the fall. It looks at home in amongst other vibrantly colored blooms in hot climates or makes a cheerful patio plant in cooler zones. No matter where it’s planted, it’ll draw in your favorite pollinators.
