The annual Gardener's Pathway & Artisan Market returns! The DeKalb County Master Gardeners host this event and welcome keynote speaker Kerry Ann Mendez. Mendez is a nationally renowned garden educator, author, and design consultant. She is also the proprietor of Perennially Yours. Mendez's appearance is sponsored by Proven Winners.
There are three breakout sessions planned with nine topics to choose from when you register. A $50 program fee will be collected.
The day includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and door prizes. Be sure to visit the Artisan Market, where local artisans will sell garden-related crafts, and local nurseries will sell plants and gardening items!

The February 24, 2025, speaker meeting of the Silver Spring Garden Club features a talk entitled, “New & Exciting Houseplants.” Learn about the latest new houseplants available to consumers as well as how to make them thrive. Our speaker, Heather Wheatley, has a diverse and extensive work background in horticulture and landscape design. Heather currently holds the position of Marketing Manager | leafjoy at Proven Winners, LLC.
REFRESHMENTS: Silver Spring Garden Club members with last names beginning with the letters A-C are asked to bring a snack or drink to share to this meeting. New Refreshment Chair Leila Campbell will coordinate the paper goods and supplies.
There will also be a FREEBIES table of garden information, plants, seeds, etc. You are welcome to bring garden-related items to giveaway. NOTE: If the items have not been picked up by the end of the meeting, you MUST take them back home with you.
GARDEN DISPLAY: We encourage attendees to bring a flower or interesting foliage/fruit/branch in a vase to share on our “something from the garden” table.
