Professional Growing Information 
I saw 'Silly String's' blossoms at a distance, and thought that they were more pretty than most. I went over for a closer view, and oh my goodness! The beautiful stems! A lovely, unusual dusty purple. Wow! I thought the foliage was nice - but nothing to get excited about...until I got them home and planted them in a shady bed with 'Coast to Coast' & 'Autumn Frost' hostas and dark Hellebore foliage. Now it's the foliage that steals the show and just "completes" (hah! really? Is a bed ever really complete?) the bed beautifully. I am very happy with this plant and very highly recommend - it's gorgeous...try to find a spot for it - you won't be sorry. My only somewhat negative concern: it might not flower as well next year, being in full shade, but I can live with that, considering it's other stellar qualities.

This unique hosta has narrow blue leaves with intensely wavy margins. The leaves are the most blue in spring; as the season progresses the leaves become more blue-green. Pale purple flowers top the plant for a perfect package. Perfect for containers or the front of the shade garden.
