    • I've grown this plant for several years now and it is definitely one of my most favorite shade plants. I have to grab as many as I can when my nursery gets them because gardeners are catching on to their beauty and color and ease of care. I've wanted the white ones as well but somehow can never find them and I frequent a very special nursery in my area that can't seem to get them either. Help, Proven Winners!!!! Send them out everywhere, please!!!!

    • It's mid-October here in Southeast Michigan, about 60F, and these plants still have flowers and look great! I had to order these directly from Proven Winners because my local nursery did not carry them. All season from late May until now, the bluish-purple flowers steal the show in my garden. I stand at my back door and marvel at their color - its so pretty. Browallia was easy to take care of and not fussy at all. It mounded up and widened nicely in full shade. I will definitely order again if they are offered through Proven Winners.

    • Bought 2 and added them to a raised bed using a high quality organic raised bed mix and used a chicken manure fertilizer from the same brand es-po-ma. They’ve tripled in size with lots of blooms. Can’t wait to see how big they get by the fall.

    • Bought 2 and planted them in a raised bed against the house that gets a couple hours of sun. I used Espoma raised bed planter mix with Biotone Starter fertilizer and are growing pretty well with constant blooming.. They seem to grow 1/3 of growth per month. The foliage and flowers are striking and can’t wait to see how they look in size and blossoms to decide how many I buy next year.. Just love these!!

    • I bought this plant 2 years ago and I loved it! I planted it in a pot on my porch which hardly gets any sun and it bloomed all summer, but unfortunately I didn't bring it in for the winter and it died. I lost the tag and didn't know the name of it. Last year, I looked at several nurseries, but I couldn't find it. I had taken a picture of it and showed it to a worker at each of the nurseries and none of them recognized it. I also googled it and couldn't find it. This spring I showed my picture to a worker at a nursery and they figured it out, but they couldn't get it for me. Two days ago I found one and I was ecstatic. The one I had 2 years ago was more blue and vibrant, but I'm just happy to have found one. In the future, I will buy more and plant them in my flower bed too. I will also bring them in for the winter.

    • This is a favorite for shade. It keeps blooming all summer long, never gets pests, and booms in shade. It's tough in a pot and not as quick to wilt as impatiens plants. I have a few pots in the shade where this is one of the only reliable all season bloomers that will work. My big complaint: it's hard to find. I often have to visit several green houses to find it.

    • I bought the blue and the white versions of this plant. I have a deep rectangular planter located on my porch that only gets 1 or 2 hours of direct mid-late afternoon sunlight and these plants performed very well. They bloomed a long time. I will buy them again this year.

    • Outstanding! This is a must for your shady areas. I grew this last year and the color stands out in the shade and bloomed all summer long
